UNDATED (KTHV) - This week, a Vogue writer was blasted for putting her 7-year-old daughter on a strict, calorie-counting diet. The daughter was 4'4", weighed 93 pounds, placing her in the 99th percentile for her age. The mom believes she is being responsible.

Do you think it is right to put your child on a strict diet or is the daughter too young? Is putting a child on a diet pro-active or counter-productive?
