Habitat for Humanity'sReStorelocations accept donated items, which are re-sold to help the non-profit organization in Pulaski County.

"We will take everything for a home except clothing and linens," said ReStore Manager Stephanie Rash. "We offer pick-ups inside your home for bigger pieces that someone can't fit inside their vehicle and of course, donations are accepted at the store."

A tax-receipt is issued for each donation received. The store usually has a large supply of appliances, some priced as low as $75 and others that look as if they have never been used. Rash said that each appliance is tested before it is ever placed on the sales floor.

In addition to appliances, there are areas designated for furniture, including antiques, home decor, books, tools, building materials and gardening items.

"We carry good quality items that are reasonably priced," Rash said.

All proceeds from both ReStore locations go to build houses for low income families in need in Pulaski County.

There are twoReStore locations in the area:

Little Rock:6700 S. University Ave.(501-771-9494)

North Little Rock: 2657 Pike Ave. (501-771-9497)
