LITTLE ROCK, Ark. (KTHV) - James Staats from Golden Corral is usually bringing in some of his best breakfast foods for us at Today's THV to feed on, but today he's sharing his recipe for meatloaf with sauce.


1 1/2 lbs ground beef
1 medium onion, finely chopped
1 egg, beaten
1 1/2 tsp salt
1/4 tsp pepper
1 8oz can tomato sauce
1 cup fresh bread crumbs
Few saltines

Combine these ingredients together in a large bowl and mix together thoroughly with your hands. Form intoa loaf and place in a 9x13 pan. Set aside while you prepare sauce.


1 15oz can tomato sauce
1 cup water
6 tablespoons apple cider vinegar
6 tablespoons brown sugar
4 tablespoons yellow mustard
4 tsp Worcestershire

Mix these ingredients in a bowl and blend well. Pour the sauce over the meatloaf and bake, uncovered, at 350 degrees for one hour and fifteen minutes. Baste occasionallyduring baking. Using a meat thermometer, the internal temperature should read 165 degrees. Let stand 5-10 minutes before eating.
