LITTLE ROCK, Ark. (KTHV) - Craig's Twist 75: "Not Now."

I'd like to compliment the Romney and President Obama campaigns, for pulling their TV ads after the tragic shootings in Colorado. I'm glad they realized it was not the time for the negativity that is so commonplace in political ads.
Not while so many people are hurting.

And I think they should go one step further and pull them for the Olympics. The games are a time for pure competition, unsullied by the smack talk we see from these big money candidates on TV.

And too, there's back to school. We want our kids getting off to a positive start, not negative. And while the drought is at its peak. Stay off the air then too. We need rain not mud. Then Labor Day. Why put up with sludge during the last summer holiday? And keep em' off in September and early October as we go through the harvest. The drought was bad enough.

We don't need more TV political fertilizer while farmers are holding their collective breaths over whether or not there'll be any inventory. Then there are state fairs in October, the college and high school football season, Race for the Cure, Octoberfest celebrations, ..and Halloween... All of it a time for families and friends coming together.

Truthfully, the best time to run these things would be Monday night November 5th, the night before the election.

But, the chances of that happening would be the same as Ellen Degeneres being spokesperson for Chick Fil-A.
