LITTLE ROCK, Ar (KTHV)--The Easter Seals of Arkansasheld their annual Rollin' on the River in the Rivermarket Saturday morning to raise funds for the organization.

CEO/President Sharon Moone-Jochums says, "Last year we served over 20,000 people state-wide. Many people don't realize we see a lot of children in different parts of the state: in public schools, we do training for teachers and therapists statewide and we see an awful lot of children that come from various parts of the state at our children's rehabilitation center."

The winner of the 5k was Dan Meredith of North Little Rock with a time of 17:30.

Each year teams dress up and show up to support the clients and staff of Easter Seals. This year's team to raise the most money was "Peace, Love and Butler" with a total of $20,000 raised for Easter Seals.
