CARLISLE, Ark. (KTHV) - A man and a woman are under arrest in connection with a Carlisle meth lab.

On Sept. 11, two officers with the Lonoke County Sheriff's Office went to a motel in Carlisle about a theft.

When officers got to the room, they say they could smell marijuana and a chemical odor in the room. Officers found a black bag with some suspicious items and plastic tubing inside.

Investigator found and seized chemicals, components, and paraphernalia used in the manufacturing of methamphetamine. They also found a small amount of marijuana and numerous items of drug related paraphernalia.

Officers arrested Taylor Alese Jones, 19, and Joshua Clay Burton, 25, both from Hazen. They were arrested for possession of paraphernalia with intent to manufacture, possession of a controlled substance, and possession of drug paraphernalia.
