LITTLE ROCK, Ark. (Oct. 9, 2012) - The Arkansas Democrat-Gazette and the Central Arkansas Human Resources Association present the Fall Job Fair from 10 a.m. to 3 p.m. Tuesday, Oct. 16, at the Statehouse Convention Center in Little Rock.
The event is free to the public.
The fair brings job seekers and recruiters together in one location on one day. The job market is tough, but the Fall Job Fair is here to help ease this burden on both job seekers and recruiters.
Approximately 50 businesses will be represented at the fair. The expected attendance for the Job Fair is 2,000 job seekers.
Those looking for a job should come prepared. Seekers should bring at least 50 copies of their resume, dress professionally and be well groomed. First impressions do count when looking for a job!
The Job Fair will feature seminars to help job seekers including a presentation by award-winning author Scott Tollett. His latest book, "Bounce Forward: Face Your Career Crisis With a Plan," was released on Oct. 1, 2012 and he is in Arkansas on a book tour.
