REDFIELD, Ark. (KTHV) - City leaders in Redfield are now getting involved to keep their middle school from closing.

They met Tuesday night at the Redfield American Legion building to organize. The White Hall School District is considering closing the school, citing a decline in enrollment and rising costs.

The 120 students at Redfield Middle School would be transferred to White Hall Middle School. The school board is expected to decide what to do with the school within a couple of months.
