UNDATED (CNN) -- Two big names are hitting the weekend box office: James Bond and Abraham Lincoln.

Bond is back in "skyfall". After convincing many he was dead, bond must prove that he's not only alive, but hasn't lost his edge.

In his latest adventure, the legendary super spy's loyalties will be tested, and the stakes have never been higher. Daniel Craig reprises his role 007 and Judi Dench is back as "M". "Skyfall" is rated PG-13.

Director Steven Spielberg is taking movie-goers back in time with "Lincoln." Daniel Day Lewis plays the 16th American president caught in a battle between his personal instincts and his cabinet.

Set during the civil war, "Lincoln" chronicles the president's leadership during one of the nation's most tumultuous and divisive times, as well as his decision to emancipate slaves.

Also starring Sally Field, Joseph Gordon-Levitt, James Spader and Tommy Lee Jones, "Lincoln" is rated PG-13.
