WARRENSBURG, Mo. (HARDING U)- Shelby Winkelmann scored 24 points to led Central Missouri over the Harding women's basketball team 78-62 on Thursday in non-conference action. The Lady Bisons fall to 1-1 on the season.

Winkelmann made 9-of-15 from the field and grabbed a game-high 12 rebounds for the Jennies who stayed perfect on the season with a 3-0 record. Two other players finished in double-figure scoring - BreAnna Lewis scored 15 and Symone Murray scored 12 points.

Central Missouri shot 46.0 percent in the game (29-of-63) and made nine 3-pointers. Murray led UCM from behind the arc with four 3-pointers.

Harding also made nine 3-pointers. Junior forward Kristen Celsor and sophomore guard Tabitha Haney each had four 3-pointers for HU. Celsor led the Lady Bisons with 20 points hitting 8-of-17 from the field. Sophomore forward Arielle Saunders had 16 points and Haney had 12 points.

Harding got outrebounded 36-45. Kristen Celsor led HU with seven.

UCM held the Lady Bisons to shooting 36.1 percent from the field (22-of-61). They also forced 14 Harding turnovers.
Harding trailed 44-31 at halftime.

The Lady Bisons will have the week off before traveling to San Antonio, Texas to face St. Mary's at 3 p.m., on Saturday, Nov. 24.
