STARKVILLE, Miss. (KTHV) -- Arkansas makes too many mistakes leading to a 45-14 loss on the road at Mississippi State on Saturday.

Arkansas' 5 turnovers proved to be the downfall for the Razorbacks. The Bulldogs scored 24 points off those turnovers.

Tyler Russell threw for 274 yards and four touchdowns for Mississippi State. Dak Prescott came in late in the 4th quarter to throw for 28 yards on 2 complete passes.

For the Hogs, Tyler Wilson finished the game 23 of 29 for 225 yards with two touchdowns and two interceptions. Red shirt quarterback Brandon Allen came in on the last drive for the Razorbacks, completing one pass for eight yards.

Arkansas (4-7, 2-5) moved the ball well to open the game and led 14-7 early in the second quarter. The Bulldogs led 17-14 at the half and took control of the game for good in the third quarter.

LaDarius Perkins finished with 137 all-purpose yards and two touchdowns for Mississippi State. Chad Bumphis caught six passes - two for touchdowns - setting a single-season school record.

Dennis Johnson led the Hogs with 88 yards rushing on 15 carries. Johnson also had three receptions, one of which resulted in a touchdown. Cobi Hamilton led the Hogs' receiving corps with 88 yards as well. He had 7 receptions and a touchdown on the game.

The win snaps a three-game losing streak for the Bulldogs (7-3, 4-3Southeastern Conference). It also ends a three-game losing streakagainst the Razorbacks.
