LITTLE ROCK, Ark. (KTHV) - Hundreds gathered Saturday, December 1, to participate in the 21 annual Jingle Bell Run.
The Jingle Bell Run was started to help benefit the Arthritis Foundation of Arkansas. It has become the primary fund raiser for an organization thathas helpedkids with juvenile arthritis fight the daily pain that they endure.
The Foundation had already raised over $67,000 going into the race and ended upwith a total of $76,499. The route had runners starting in the front of the Clinton Library and took them over the Broadway Bridge and back through downtown NLR.
There is no cure for arthritis at this time, but the Foundation sends manychildren to an arthritis camp at Camp Aldersgate each year.
