LITTLE ROCK, Ark. (KTHV) - The Jewish community in Arkansas will unite for the Arkansas' annual public Menorah lighting ceremony that will take place Sunday, December 9, at 5:30 located on the corner of Chenal and Bowman.

The holiday of Chanukah began Saturday, December 8, and is celebrated for 8 days.There will be traditional food served such as - fried potatoes pancakes and doughnuts. There will also be music and festivities to participate in.

The giant Menorah will be kindled at the following times on every evening of the eight-day festival: Sunday-Thursday at 5:30 p.m. Friday at 3:30 p.m. and Saturday at 6:30 p.m.
