CABOT, Ark. (KTHV) - Popular radio DJ "DC McGehee" released a statement following the extensive search that took place for him on Friday.
After not reporting to work Friday morning, DC's family became worried and police executed a search.Officers used a helicopter, tracking dog, dive team, and many searchers to look for him. About 8 p.m., DC appeared at his home and said he had beensleeping in a safe room of his attic.
Monday afternoon, DC released this statement on the Alice 107.7 facebook page:
"To my family, my friends and fans of Alice 107.7. After the events of last Friday, I have decided to seek treatment for certain personal and medical issues that I have been dealing with for some time. While I regret being away from the show during this time, I look forward to getting back to work in the near future. I appreciate your support during this difficult time.
