BENTON, Ark. (KTHV) - According to Lt. Kevin W. Russell with the Benton Police Department, officers have made an arrest in connection with a commercial burglary.
Lt. Russell said Rhiannon Goshien, 36, Brandon Richmond, 30, and David Rollans, 40, were all arrested within days of each other after $3,500 worth of copper had been stolen from Wholesale Electric Company in Browning Commercial Park.
Police said around 3 a.m., Dec. 9, officers noticed a suspicious vehicle at the Browning Commercial Park, but when they went to inspect it, the vehicle fled from the area and was later located on Boone Road.
After some investigation, police arrested Goshien Dec. 9 and charged her with Commercial Burglary and Theft of Property. Richmond and Rollans were arrested Dec. 11.
Richmond was charged with Commercial Burglary, Theft of Scrap Metal, Unauthorized Use of Another Person's Property to Facilitate Certain Crimes, Criminal Mischief 1st Degree, Theft by Receiving, and Fleeing. Richmond was a parolee on active supervision.
Rollans was charged with Commercial Burglary, Theft of Scrap Metal, Unauthorized Use of Another Person's Property to Facilitate Certain Crimes, Criminal Mischief 1st Degree, Theft by Receiving, and Fleeing.
All three suspects were taken to the Saline County Detention Facility for processing. Police said additional charges could arise during continued investigations.
The copper was returned to the owners.
