MALVERN, Ark. (KTHV) - Tuesday night toys were being wrapped in memory of Hannah Grace Dowdie.

Volunteers wrapped gifts as part of a toy drive for foster children. The late Hannah Grace's adoptive mother, Holly Carr and her friend, Libby, started the drive together in Malvern and the surrounding area.

"The response has been overwhelming. The community loved my Hannah Grace. I guess they love Kevin and I. They love Libby. They've just embraced it. Embraced that we're helping other children just like Hannah Grace," said Carr.

Carr said this year they're helping 34 foster kids.

Three years ago, authorities found the bodies of Hannah Grace and her father. Hannah's dad had just been granted custody of her before being murdered.
