LITTLE ROCK, Ark. (KTHV) -- Several junior college players signed national letters of intent to playfootball with schools across the nation, including right here inArkansas.

The University of Arkansas went five-for-five on junior college recruits Wednesday. All five players the Razorbacks sought after made the decision to sign with the U of A.

Martrell Spaight graduated from North Little Rock two years ago. He's been playing JUCO football at Coffeyville Community College since then. At 6 foot, 200 pounds, Spaight played linebacker in high school and JUCO.

Although he made a verbal commitment to Kansas St. just last week, Bret Bielema reached out to Spaight this week. Spaight says he glad Bielema reached out to him. He says he based his decision on the growing up with the desire to play "at home."

Myke Tavarres is a 6-2, 215 pound linebacker from Weed, California. He recently played at College of the Siskiyous. Tavarres chose the Hogs over Boise State, Arizona and others.

Carroll Washington is a 6-2, 215 pound cornerback from Salinas, California. Washington played at Hartnell College the last two years.

Johnathan McClure is a 6-4, 305 pound offensive lineman. He recently played for Butler Community College. He was voted two 2nd team All-American as a freshman and 1st JUCO All-American as a sophomore.

Tiquention Coleman also signed with the Razorbacks Wednesday. Coleman is a 5-10, 194 pound safety who recently played for Georgia Military College. He chose the Hogs over Wisconsin, Arizona and Mississippi State.
