BENTON, AR - Benton Policesay20-year old Daniel Glenn Caplewas arrested on Friday in Little Rock. He is being held in the Pulaski CountyJail awaiting transfer to Saline County.

SALINE COUNTY, AR-Detectives with the Benton Police Department have obtained a warrant for the arrest of Daniel Glenn Caple (W/M, 20 YOA) in relation to an armed robbery that took place on 1/10/13. Caple is being charged with 2 counts of Aggravated Robbery, 2 counts of Theft of Property, 2 counts of Aggravated Assault, and 2 counts of Terroristic Threatening.

The facts of the case are as follows:

On 1/10/13, at approximately 2:01 PM, officers with the Benton Police Department responded to the Shell Superstop, located at 16824 I-30, on report of a robbery. Upon their arrival it was determined that an armed robbery took place and the suspects had fled prior officers' arrival.

One suspect entered the business armed with a pistol that was displayed during the course of the robbery. While inside the business the suspect jumped onto the counter and fired a round from the pistol into the floor, and then fled the business with an undisclosed amount of money and merchandise. The clerk didn't sustain any physical injuries as a result of this incident.

The suspect that entered the business was described as being a slender white male wearing a black jacket and jeans with a dark colored, half-open face style toboggan. Additionally, there were two individuals in a vehicle outside the business that accompanied him there, but never entered the store. The suspect vehicle was described as being a late 90's Chevrolet Malibu.

Caple is believed to be in the central Arkansas area and anyone with information about his whereabouts is encouraged to contact their local police agency or the Benton Police Department at 778-1171 or 315-TIPS. Caple is believed to be armed and dangerous, and individuals should use extreme caution if they come into contact with him.
