RUSSELLVILLE, Ark. (ATU) - Senior Roselis Silva averaged 18.5 points, 9.5 rebounds, 6.5 steals and 6.0 assists in game play last weekend to pick up her first Great American Conference Player of the Week this season, the league office announced today.

Silva picked up her second GAC Player of the Week honor of her career by putting together a pair of all-around games. She helped the Golden Suns to win at Harding 50-43 and against Southeastern Oklahoma State 81-68. She flirted with a quadruple double against the Savage Storm as she finished with 23 points, 10 rebounds, eight assists and seven steals.

Silva totals 78 steals so far this season, 48 away from the Golden Suns record. In the 2011-2012 season, Silva set the Golden Suns record for the most steals in a season with 126.

The Golden Suns will return to action on Saturday, February 2 in Bethany, Okla. Arkansas Tech will play Southern Nazarene at 2 p.m.
