Philadelphia, PA (Sports Network) - Kyle Anderson scored 15 points as the Delaware Blue Hens fended off a late comeback attempt by the Drexel Dragons to hold on to a 66-64 win in a Colonial Athletic Association showdown at the Daskalakis Center.

For Drexel (8-12, 4-4), Damion Lee shot 10-of-21 from the field and 7-of-8 from the foul line for a career-high 30 points before fouling out. Frantz Massenat added 15 points, and Daryl McCoy ripped down 10 boards for the Dragons, who had won their previous three contests.
Delaware opened the game on a 23-9 run and went into intermission with a 31-24 advantage.
The Blue Hens' lead appeared well in hand up 15 with 4:22 to play in the game, but the Dragons pulled off a 15-1 surge to make their deficit just one, 65-64, following a pair of Massenat free throws with 1:04 remaining. After empty possessions by both sides, Anderson made 1-of-2 at the line for Delaware with three seconds left, and Massenat's game-winning 3-point attempt at the buzzer did not fall.
Delaware shot 50.9 percent from the field while holding Drexel to only 34.4 percent shooting.
