PRAGUE, Czech Republic (CBS/ENEX/NOVA) -- The trial for Richmond, VA native and Lamb of God frontman Randy Blythe began in the Prague City Court Monday morning. Blythe was in a Czech prison for 37 days last summer and was charged in connection to the 2010 death of a fan at a concert in Prague music club Abaton. Now, three years later, he faces up to ten years in prison.

Vocalist Randy Blythe fought with several fans who climbed up on the stage during the show. A 19 year-old man fell off the stage and later died due to multiple head injuries.

According to the police he was not drunk or under the influence of drugs. Family of the fan demands 10 millions CZK; some $500,000 U.S. dollars in compensation.
