LITTLE ROCK, Ark. (Arkansas Business) -- Concerns voiced by the Federal Reserve sends the market downward Wednesday.

Investors not crazy about minutes released from the most-recent meeting of the Federal Reserve Board. Members criticized their own bond-buying efforts, saying it could potentially rattle the markets or cause the government to take a loss.

But the minutes also revealed that the new year has brought fewer risks than there were in December.

Weak worldwide sales for Caterpillar

Caterpillar brought the market down with weak worldwide sales while ConAgra made gains after raising its profit forecast.

Jobs coming to Clinton in Van Buren Co.

A new manufacturing and packaging plant is coming to the town of Clinton in Van Buren County, and with it, 224 new jobs will be added to the local economy.

Global Food Group says it will invest $4.7 million to renovate the facility on the south side of town. The company makes products such as sandwiches, quesadillas, tortillas and burritos.

Clinton was hit hard in the recession with a Pilgrims Pride plant that closed and a 2008 tornado that destroyed a boat factory.

Dillard's Inc. founder's widow dies

Alexa Latimer Dillard, the widow of Dillard's Inc. founder William T. Dillard, died Wednesday. She was 96.

All five of Alexa Dillard's children currently serve as executives for the department store chain. Born in Nashville, Arkansas in 1916, she married her husband in 1940. The couple was married for 62 years until his death in 2002.
