LITTLE ROCK, Ark. (KTHV) -- The Mosaic Templars Cultural Center continued their celebration of Black History Month.
The group met at the Capitol to Highlight Arkansas's African American entrepreneurial spirit.
"We thought today was awesome to have this program here. Working with the governor was always a privilege," Sericia Cole exclaimed. "He is a proponent of Mosaic Templars Cultural Center and a big proponent of African American achievement in any sector, so we were thrilled to have it here today."
Many in the audience had worked with Governor Beebe before. He stated that he was proud of those who had gone on to start their own businesses and said it's a never ending battle to create opportunity.
