LITTLE ROCK, Ark. (KTHV) -- No matter what the question, no one can stump Dr. T. Glenn Pait with UAMS. He's cracking open up his medical mailbag to answer your questions.

These are the questions he covered:

-What do you think about all those medications that advertise to cure the common cold or flu? Do they really work or should I just save my money?

-I have lived in the South all my life. I was told our southern diet is one of the worst diets of all. Is that true? why?

-This time of year I get finger cracks. They're very painful! Is there something wrong with me, and what do you recommend for prevention and, if I get one, how do I take care of it to make it go away soon?

-A co-worker comes to the office when she has a cold. I tell her to stay home, it's not good for her or anybody else. Maybe if you tell her, Dr. Pait, she'll listen. When should you go see your doctor when you have a cold?
