CONWAY, Ark. (KTHV) - A man showed up in District Court Thursday drunk while answering for a DWI charge.
According to public information officer LaTresha Woodruff, Delton Louis Stubbs, 31, of Conway, was arrested when he appeared in court intoxicated. Officers witnessed that he smelled of intoxicants, his speech was mumbled, and his eyes were watery. They said he blew a .20 on a portable breath test.
Woodruff said Stubbs admitted to having "a couple of beers" when he got off work around 3 a.m. She added that his mother was in court with him, and she was the one who drove him there.
Stubbs was taken to the Faulkner County Detention Center. At the time of this report, he was trying to get an attorney.
