LITTLE ROCK, Ark. (KTHV) -- State legislators from the Senate and the House of Representatives faced off in the inaugural Hoops for Kids' Sake charity basketball game.

The bipartisan game featured former Razorbacks, local celebrities and Arkansas legislators. The game started at 7 p.m Tuesday at UALR's Jack Stephens Center, and ended with the House beating Senate 67-60.

The charity game was created to raise money for Big Brothers Big Sisters of Central Arkansas. All proceeds will benefit this organization in order for them to continue the mission in the central Arkansas area.

THV 11's very own Mark Edwards teamed up with Senate President Pro Tempore Michael Lamoureux to coach the Senate team. KATV sports anchor Steve Sullivan coached the House of Representatives team.

Celebrity players included former Razorback Sunday Adebayo, former Razorback Blake Eddins, David Goins (KARK/KLRT reporter), former Razorback Pat Bradley and Robert Burton (KATV sports reporter).
