WICHITA FALLS, Texas (HARDING) - Harding men's golf placed 13th of 15 teams at the Midwestern State Invitational, hosted Monday and Tuesday at the Champions Course at Weeks Park.

Harding shot 953 in the 54-hole event. The Bisons best round was a 308 in round two. Harding shot 324 in round one and 321 in round three.

The Bisons' top finisher was freshman Alex Williamson of Jacksonville, Fla., who tied for 24th of 85 golfers with a three-round score of 231. He shot a 2-over 74 in the second round and a 3-over 75 in round three.

Harding's other golfers included Lucas Collins (t-63rd, 243), Brandon Clark (t-63rd, 243), Jordan Perry (t-66th, 244), and Nathan Kannenberg (t-71st, 245).

Midwestern State won the team competition with a 23-over score of 887. Cameron was second at 891. Santiago Gomez of Midwestern State won the tournament by one stroke over Chris Martinez of Incarnate Word. Gomes shot even-par 216, including a 2-under 70 in round two.

arding will be back in action on Mar. 25-26 at the Jim Bishop Toyota Classic, hosted by the University of North Alabama.
