NORTH LITTLE ROCK, Ark. (KTHV) - Now under new management, new ownership, and sporting a new look, Wild River Country is ready to open within the next few months.
Chris Shillcutt, vice president of park operations, said everything new at the park is what he would call a character change.
"In the past you have seen white slides. Now, everything's getting some character to it--some paint, the inside of the slides are all getting redone, so they're nice and smooth for the riders and to make a better ride for them," he said.
The park opens up May 18, and if you're looking for a new summer job out there, Shillcutt said they employ up to 350 people during the park season.
