NEW HAVEN, Conn. (AP) - It was over in just five minutes.
According to search warrants that were released from the Sandy Hook Elementary School shooting in Connecticut, Adam Lanza killed 20 children and six adults in the school and took his own life within five minutes of shooting his way into the building in December.
The documents also reveal that the weapons found in Lanza's home included guns, more than a thousand rounds of ammunition, a bayonet and several swords.
Also among the items found in his home was a holiday card containing a check made out to him for the purchase of a firearm. It came from his mother.
