(KTHV) UNDATED -- At THV 11, we're always looking to make your life easier. With it being Friday, we've once again found five things for you to do with the family this weekend.
#1.Travs Opening Game -- Head out to the ballparkthis evening as the Arkansas Travelers open their 7th season by taking on the Frisco RoughRiders. First pitch is at 6:10 p.m. at Dickey Stephens Park. Last night's game was cancelled due to weather so it will be a double header.
#2.Relay for LifeWalk-- Be a hero this weekend and help find a cure for cancer. It's the Relay For Life event at University of Central Arkansas. It starts tonight at 6 p.m. and runs through tomorrow morning at 6 a.m. This is your opportunity to not only honor cancer survivors and remember loved ones lost, but also to raise awareness.
#3.Kidfest Superhero Race--Troubled kids in Faulkner County have a passionate and powerful voice in CASA, an advocacy group that deals with some of the most heartbreaking situations. This weekend you can be a voice for the victims at the annual Kidsfest Superhero Race at the Faulkner County Courthouse in Conway.
#4.Horseshoe Match-- It's an easy-to-learn game for two or more players. All you need is an open space, two sticks and four horseshoes. If you love to play or may be just watch, head out to Burns Park in North Little Rock Saturday from 12-3. This is a free match and is open to all ages and genders. It will be good practice for the 25th annual tournament in Kirby, Arkansas, which takes place August 24th.
#5.Breakfast at Little Rock Zoo-- Share a meal with the Rhinos at the Little Rock Zoo on Saturday. You can have a delicious breakfast in Cafe Africa and participate in a unique chat all about rhinos.
