CONWAY, Ark. (KTHV) -- A new sign will greet people as they come into Conway as part of the new Conway 2025 long-term strategic plan.
The Conway Area Chamber of Commerce unveiled plans for an attractive new entryway to downtown Conway. Rogers Plaza will be located at Oak and Court Streets, and is named after the Earl Rogers family, who donated the property to the city.
Mayor Tab Townsell said the area will be yet another great city attraction.
"Which will be a park setting. We'll have a fountain. We'll have a gateway arch. All of that funded to help bring attention to and help establish quality of place right in the gateway to the heart of the city of Conway and that's in downtown," the mayor described.
The plaza is part of an ongoing effort to invest in and revitalize downtown Conway.
