LITTLE ROCK, Ark. (April 6, 2013) - The Junior League of Little Rock, in partnership with UALR Children International is hosting a fun family event calledBoosters & Big Rigs today, April 6.

The free event includes health screenings and immunizations, car seat safety education, and fun learning experiences with community vehicles such as ambulances, fire trucks, police cars and more.

Parents can gather information on immunizations, as well as receiving free dental and vision screenings. Plus, attendees can get a carseat check from a professional, which can help determine whether kids still require booster seats or have graduated to wearing an adult belt.

And while the adults are learning how to keep their children safe, the kiddoswill get the chance to touch the siren button of a police car, check out the back of an ambulance, pretend to drive a fire truck, and more.
