SEARCY, Ark. (HARDING) - Harding women's track and field team earned seven event victories, recorded five NCAA Division II provisional times and broke three school records at the Bison Invitational on Saturday at First Security Stadium.

Harding senior Portia Bell won the 200 meters in 23.90, an NCAA provisional time and the third-fastest time in Division II this season. She also placed second in the 100 meters with a provisional 11.99, the 11th-fastest Division II time.

Sophomore Ewa Zaborowska provisionally qualified for nationals in winning the 800 meters in 2:10.94, the fourth-fastest Division II time. She has also qualified for nationals in the 1,500 meters.
The 4x400-meter relay team of Lydia Gordon, Shana Holmes, Kristen Celsor and Bell broke their own school record in winning in 3:51.35.

Harding was equally impressive in the field events. Celsor won the high jump, clearing 5 feet, 8 inches. The jump was a provisional mark, broke her own school record and was the fifth-best jump of the season in Division II.

Senior Tiffany Chambers won the pole vault and broke her own school record, clearing 12 feet, 6 inches. It was a provisional height and the third-best pole vault in Division II.

Harding's other event victories came from sophomore Dallis Bailey in the 1,500 meters (4:49.30) and freshman Lydia Gordon in the triple jump (32-10.25).

arding's season continues next Saturday at the Ole Miss Invitational in Oxford, Miss.
