UNDATED (CNN) -- A member of 3 Doors Down is implicated in a deadly traffic accident, and Tom Cruise was the big draw at the box office. This and more is in your Hollywood Minute report from CNN.
The bassist for the rock group "3 Doors Down" is facing charges of vehicular homicide.
Police say Robert Todd Harrell was speeding Friday night in Nashville when he clipped a pickup truck, sending it down an embankment. The driver was killed.
Police say Harrell acknowledged drinking hard cider and taking various prescription drugs.
In a statement on its website, "3 Doors Down" says it's "deeply saddened" by the death of the driver, and said "our hearts and prayers go out to his family and friends at this difficult time."
The post-apocalyptic "Oblivion" obliterated the competition at the box office over the weekend. The film, starring Tom Cruise, topped the box office with $38.2 million in ticket sales.
"42," the Jackie Robinson biopic, continues to score with moviegoers. It pulled in another $18 million in its second week in theaters. And the Dreamworks animated feature, "The Croods" held onto third place, with another $9.5 million in ticket sales.
