BENTON, Ark. (KTHV) -- Benton Police say they have made an arrest in Friday's shooting on Millbrook Cove.

Police say evidence indicated Jason Gaunt helped Timothy Gauldin to shoot himself. During a search of Gaunt's residence, detectives reportedly found the firearm involved in the incident, as well as a home-grown marijuana operation.

Gaunt, a teacher with the Little Rock School District, was arrested on charges of furnishing a firearm to a felon, possession of marijuana and possession of drug paraphernalia.

Gauldin hasn't been charged yet due to the serious nature of his injuries. He is also on active parole from the Department of Community Corrections.

According to police, Gauldin knocked on a door on Millbrook Cove around midnight on Thursday, claiming he'd been a victim of a drive-by shooting. He was flown to a Little Rock hospital where he was listed in serious condition.
