BIRMINGHAM, Ala. (HENDRIX) - The Hendrix College women's golf team wrapped their season with an eighth place finish at the Southern Athletic Association Championships at Highland Lake Golf Course on Sunday. During the three-day event the Warriors shot a 438-410-435=1,283.

Senior Brie Seebinger fired an 89 on Sunday, her low round of the season. The Albuquerque, N.M. native finished 32nd overall with a 94-96-89=279. Sophomore Kelsi McClure followed in 37th place with a 109-96-104=309. Freshman Sydney King shot a 109-104-109=322, good for 40th and freshman Trilby Gibson finished 42nd with a 126-114-133=373.

Centre, the eighth-ranked team in the nation, won the title with 935 total strokes. They were followed by Birmingham-Southern (942), Rhodes (970), Sewanee (987), Oglethorpe (1,006), Berry (1,036), Millsaps (1,113) and Hendrix (1,283).
