BATESVILLE, Ark. (AP) - An Independence County economic development official says ConAgra Foods is expected to add 50 jobs at its plant in Batesville.

Independence County Economic Development Director Larry Jones told The Batesville Daily Guard that the company is hiring employees to produce a new line of Marie Callender's breakfast sandwiches.

Jones says the new jobs bring total employment at the Batesville plant to 310.
