ARKADELPHIA, Ark. (HSU) -- Henderson State's Kendall Earp and Katie Flinn were named to the 2013 Great American Conference All-Conference Women's Golf Team announced by the league office on Monday.
Earp earned first-team honors while Flinn was a second team honoree. Earp, who was the 2013 GAC Tournament medalist, had six top five finishes out of eight events. The junior from Crockett, Texas won the Texoma Chevy Dealers Invitational and was third at both the First Federal Bank Invitational and the Missouri Western Candlewood Suites Invitational.
In her 16 rounds, Earp has a stroke average of 77.06 including a round of 71, one-under par at the GAC Tournament on the Hot Springs Country Club Park Course which was the all-time best round in the tournament.
Flinn finished two strokes behind Earp at the GAC Championships to finish in third-place. The junior from Mount Pleasant, Texas has a stroke average of 81.39 in 18 rounds including a round of 72 at the GAC Championships.
Both Earp and Flinn were named to the GAC All-Tournament Team earlier this season.
