LITTLE ROCK, Ark. (KTHV) - Certain guidelines we, as Facebook page admins, might overlook can cost us everything we've worked for.

Imagine losing all of your brand's fan base, videos, photos, interactions, and everything else just by not adhering to the social network's guidelines. While you may not have seen a page get shutdown, it does happen, and experts say it actually happens quite often.

Facebook's cover photo guidelinesread, "All covers are public. This means that anyone who visits your Page will be able to see your cover. Covers can't be deceptive, misleading, or infringe on anyone else's copyright. You may not encourage people to upload your cover to their personal timelines. Covers may not include images with more than 20 percent text."

The social network reserves the right to remove a Facebook page with little to no warning if it violates guidelines. In fact, according to socialfresh.com,Facebook recently announced that they will be implementing a massive enforcement/clean-up program beginning April 1.
