LITTLE ROCK, Ark. (KTHV) -- A number of organizations in our area are collecting items for the tornado victims in Oklahoma.

The Boy Scouts in Little Rock launched a donation drive Thursday at War Memorial Stadium. They're looking for things like yard tools, insect repellent and two-way radios to help with clean-up.

"My family moved here from Moore, Oklahoma in 2005. We were hit by the tornado in 2003 that went through there. It barely missed us in '99. So we know how and have some sense of what those people are going through," said Scout Leader Butch Walker

Walker said they're also taking money donations, and they are hoping to fill two box trucks up with items to take over on Saturday.
