HOT SPRINGS, Ark. (KTHV) - One of the most remarkable developments surrounding the new fall TV season is that Michael J. Fox is returning to Prime Time.
Despite suffering from Parkinson's disease over the last 10 years, Fox has undertaken a whole new ambitious project. His new show points out what Parkinson's victims have to go through. They work through the pain of the neurological disorder, and whether it's a TV sitcom or doing garden work, there are daily hurdles.
Optimism is the key. Parkinson's Community feels that we could find a cure within 10 years.
With that in mind, the first ever Parkinson's Walk for the Cure is being held Saturday at Hot Springs Mall. It starts at 3 p.m. with a special Magic Show by Magician Scott Davis at 2:30.
If you'd like to enter the walk to honor someone close, head to: www.apdaparkinson.org
