MEMPHIS, TN (CBS/WREG) -- The man Jay Sieleman of the Blues Foundation called the greatest blues singer in the world is gone. The Memphis Music Foundation says legendary blues musician Bobby "Blue" Bland has died.
Bland's talents led him to membership in both the Rock and Roll Hall of Fame and the Blues Hall of Fame. Bland got his start in the 1950's and 60's and would later perform with artists like Sam Cooke and Ray Charles.
Funeral arrangements have not yet been announced.
