SEARCY, Ark. (KTHV) --A Missouri teenager is in jail awaiting extradition on charges that he allegedly stole a car and drove to Searcy to kill someone.
Steve Hernandez with the Searcy Police Department says officers received information from authorities in Festus, Mo., that 18-year-old Seth Thompson of Festus was on his way to Searcy looking for a female that he had intentions of killing.
Thompson was said to be armed and dangerous and driving a vehicle that he had allegedly carjacked in Festus. Officers with the Searcy Police Department located the vehicle matching the description of the one that Thompson carjacked and found Thompson in it, according to Hernandez.
Thompson was taken into custody without incident and transported to the White County Detention Center on a $100,000 bond. He is currently awaiting extradition.
