LITTLE ROCK, Ark. (KHTV) - Officers have seized anywhere from 200 to 300 marijuana plants with an estimated street value of around $100,000 in Little Rock.

According to Lt. Carl Minden with the Pulaski County Sheriff's Office, the plants were found in various stages of growth around 5 p.m. Wednesday at a mobile home on the 15000 block of Carla Lane off of Mailroute Road.

Police said this is one of the more sophisticated marijuana grow operations they've seen. The trailer had been completely sealed off from the inside; the doors and windows have been dry walled on the inside, and the only way in is through a trap door. Just getting inside was a challenge because of the lengths the growers went to to hide this crop.

"It's supposedly an abandoned property, but they've actually gone in there and done a lot of construction work. You go on the inside, and the entrances are all sealed off. They spent some time and effort doing this," added Lt. Minden.

Minden said the information for the warrant came from an anonymous tip. He added that there is a suspect, but no arrest has been made so far.
