LITTLE ROCK, Ark. (KTHV) -- The 12-year-old Benton girlcontinues to improve after being diagnosed with the usually-fatal parasitic meningitis.

Ginny Hensley with Arkansas Children's Hospital says Kali Hardig is listed in good condition.

Just last week herFacebook page'Prayers for Kali Le Ann'reported that se walked across the room with a person on each side holding her arms and then back to the other side. She is also saying some words and phrases like "Hi Mama".

Kali was infected by the parasite that causes parasitic meningitis at a Little Rock water park, which has since closed, in July. She is the third survivor in the world from this infection.
