CABOT, Ark. (KTHV) - Entergy is at work repairing a broken 100-foot transmission tower in Cabot.

Last Wednesday, someone managed to sever a power line and removed several bolts from the tower.The FBI is investigating and there's a $20,000 dollar reward for information leading to an arrest.

Entergy spokesperson Julie Munsell explained how the utility approaches security.

"We have thousands of these structures across the territory that we serve. Fortunately, this is something that's very rare. Unfortunately, you realize there some individuals out there that would risk their own life to either cause an outage or to hurt other people."

Munsall said Entergy relies, for the most part, on common sense that few will try to climb 100-foot high voltage towers.
