BENTON, Ark. (KTHV) - The Benton Police Department has arrested a man for aggravated assault and possession of automatic weapons.

According to Lt. Kevin Russell, Justin Stegall, 28, was arrested Sept. 10 around 5 p.m. after an apparent road rage incident near the Carpenter Street Overpass on I-30. Police said Stegall pointed a gun at another driver.

Police were able to find Stegall's vehicle at the Alcoa Exchange shopping center. He was taken into custody, and police said they found not only a handgun in his vehicle during a search but also an unknown number of automatic rifles.

Stegall was charged with carrying a weapon, carrying a prohibited weapon, and first-degree terroristic threatening.

The Benton Special Investigative Unit detectives are investigating this case alongside and are ATF agents in relation to the automatic weapons located.
