NORTH LITTLE ROCK (KTHV) - This weekend marks one month since a tragic shooting in North Little Rock. Samantha Olson was a young wife and mother, killed in what police believe to be a random shooting along McCain Blvd.

Olson's sister, April Ibarra, came in town this weekend from Dallas for a poker run benefit in honor of her sister. The family is hoping to raise the reward fund in this unsolved case that's still tugging at their hearts.

"You want to call her and you can't. That's something that you can't replace," Ibarra said. It's a call that April Ibarra can't make anymore to her big sister, Samantha Olson. "I miss everything about her."

On the evening of August 14, North Little Rock police said Olson died in a shooting while driving along McCain Blvd. Olson's infant daughter was in the car with her but wasn't hurt.

"There has to be something. I mean it's frustrating at this point," Ibarra said.

Police haven't named any suspects yet but do have a possible suspect vehicle. It's a four-door, maroon Ford 150 caught on surveillance video. There's a reward fund, too, sitting at $11,000 for information leading to an arrest and a conviction.

"It was 7 o'clock. I mean you couldn't not, not seen something," Ibarra said. "It could have been anyone's sister, mother, daughter, you know? It can't just sit around and go unsolved," Ibarra said.

It's a public appeal to help solve this case and perhaps bring something to replace that phone call that Ibarra so desperately wants to make.

"You have an iPhone and you have favorites and you still have that name there and you're like, 'I can't call her, and you can't delete it.' You don't want to," Ibarra said.

North Little Rock Police said Friday that there were no new updates in the investigation, but they're appealing to anyone out there who may have seen something to come forward, even if you think it's a minor detail.

The poker run benefit on Saturday starts at 10 a.m. at the Heifer International Building in downtown Little Rock. Organizers ask riders to start arriving around 9 a.m.
