LITTLE ROCK, Ark. (KTHV) - A Sherwood man who escaped custody Oct. 9 has been captured.

Lt. Jamie Michaels with Sherwood police says Conrad Everett was being escorted to a booking area of the Sherwood jailwhen he escaped the bailiff and ran off.

He then got into a vehicle and was chased into North Little Rock.

The U.S. Marshals along with fugitive task forces from Eastern Arkansas and the Great Lakes region found Everett in Chicago late Friday Oct. 11. He was taken into custody without incident.

Everett is being held on additional charges of felony escape and aggravated assau.t He is being held at the Cook County Jail in Chicago awaiting extradition.

Sherwood Police Department say they would like to extend their appreciation to all law enforcement that played a part in taking Conrad Everett into custody.
