SEARCY, Ark. (Harding) - Lindenwood, ranked No. 7 in NCAA Division II, made a 35th-minute goal by Aris Nukic stand up and defeated Harding 1-0 on Saturday in MIAA action at the Stevens Soccer Field.

The Bisons dropped to 4-5-2 overall and 2-4-0 in the MIAA, and return to action Monday with a non-conference game against Hendrix in Conway, Ark. It is the first of five straight road games to close out the regular season.

Lindenwood improved to 12-0-1 overall and 5-0-1 in the MIAA. The Lions are the only undefeated team in the conference.

Nukic's goal was his team-leading 10th of the season and came on a cross from Mauricio Medina.

Lindenwood outshot Harding 19-4, but Bison senior goalkeeper Will Lynn made a career-high nine saves. Lion goalkeeper Alex Tiensenhausen made three saves in recording his first shutout of the season.

Lynn and midfielder Ryan Wilhelm are Harding's lone seniors and played their final home game. They were honored in a postgame ceremony.
